New Online Exclusives

Hello fellow crafter

A new line of products for the online exclusives have arrived. We have a lovely set of products to spark creativity.

You will find two new suites, iconic celebrations and season of green and gold.  Plus, new stamps and dies, changing leaves and potions and spells.

I love the season of green and gold suite, the papers are divine, the vellum is lush.

When I did my pre-order, the changing leaves hybrid embossing folder fell into my basket, I am looking forward to having a play with this, but at the moment, it’s a case of what to open first!

The glass mat is here!

Greetings fellow crafter

Stampin’ Up! had released the stamp mat earlier for those that joined, and demos were also able to get their hands on it.   Great news is that it is now available as an item in my online shop.

Being easy to clean, when you want to get inky you can simply wipe it clean – it comes with a cleaning cloth, all you need to do is add water!

As well as a cleaning cloth (you can clean your stamps too), you also get a silicon mat which has handy compartments.

Hello MOJO my old friend…

I think I have found it again!

I took part in a demo event at the weekend where we played with some new products.  It seems to have given me a little jolt in the crafting department and I have enjoyed playing at my craft desk these past few days.  I hope it continues!

We got to play with a set that won’t be released until the September-December catalogue so it was a real treat.

I made three cards using the products – and added in some current products too.

The ‘greenery’ is used from one die cut in all three cards.  So, if you have a die similar what I did was for the first card, used the inside of the die cut to create a template and using a blending tool went around it to create the border.  I moved the template around and still using the blender, without adding more ink, went around it again.

The second card, that uses the inside of the die cut, and the third card, that uses the rest of the die cut.

With the creativity flowing, I have the Tune In bundle – currently with an extra 10% discount 😉 if you fancy adding it to your crafting supplies.

My brain was having a spurt, I had been sorting through some Graphic45 papers and my brain went, ooooooooo.

I used some it to create my tin man – ok so maybe it looks more like a robot, but that is what was in my head.  I used the heartfelt hexagon punch and sentiment that is in the tune in stamp set.

And then made another card today. This one I used the stamps and dies from the tune in bundle The paper is from the a little latte papers.

Oranges and Lemons

As you peruse the new catalogue, on page 22 at the bottom there are card templates.  These are a helpful resource when you want to get creative and want a little poke to spur on your crafting.

All you have to do is select a sketch, pick your items to craft and away you go.

I used one of them and have created my oranges and lemons card using the lovely citrus blooms papers and stamps (sentiment from unbounded love).

The stamps have coordinating dies, handy if you don’t like fussy cutting! And, as I didn’t fancy fussy cutting, I diecut my stamped image, which I had coloured, using one of the dies in the set.  I cut the sentiment with one of the punches I have in my supplies.

Me, scrapbooking…

I haven’t done this for a while!

My mojo wandered off, and various other things, and this has taken me a while but I got there.  I found the paper when having a paper rummage, a paper pad that I have for I have no idea how long (not Stampin’ Up!).  The photo is also from so long ago, a day out to a rodeo, older than the cowboy paper!

The country woods paper called to me with a sheet of the lovely blue, not that youc an see much of it as I used a piece to mount the photo along with some white cardstock, and wrapped around a piece of linen thread.

Now, the new embellishment packs are great as I was flicking through the sheets and there is a cowboy so that had to go onto the layout.

So, if you are having a mojo issue, hang in there, it’s taken me a while to find mine and hoping that it’s not going to go back into hiding.

Be HaPEA

The sweet peas stamp set is one you can use for all occasions, from birthday to a new baby.  Have some fun with it.

For this card, grab your colouring pens, embossing powder and heat tool.

Stamp some peas onto some cardstock to cut out and stamp the peas in a pod onto a piece that you can die cut or punch out.  Use your memento black or another ink colour. Have some fun colouring them in.  Cut out the small peas – a little therapeutic fussy cutting.

On the smaller piece of cardstock, decide on your placement and then stamp a couple of the flowery stamps using versamark and then heat emboss.

Stamp your sentiment with versamark and heat emboss that then punch or die cut.

For the strip, use a piece of patterned paper and trim to your desired width – the piece on this card is slightly longer than the layer.

Layer up your pieces, glue down and add some sparkly gems.  Voila!
