Golly gosh, it has been a while.
The crafting mojo has had a long holiday and I am hoping it is going to creep back in, little steps and all that.
Day 4 of the new year and having caught Tim Holtz’s chat this afternoon, maybe that also gave me a little poke. Having seen Tim many moons ago at a CHA event (yikes, yes over 20 years ago, what!!) where he was demoing and creativity was oozing, I can see where he was coming from – to get back to being a creative and sharing his own joy of being creative.
I felt like I’ve been looking at my ‘stuff’ for quite a while and feeling somewhat overwhelmed, and then I got a little itch. A little creative spark. And so, I got out some Yupo and cracked open some alcohol inks and found my (still in wrapper) puffer!
And here it is, my alcohol ink creation. Gee this stuff is fun to play with. Putting down the ink and giving it a puff to move it around is quite calming. To some it may look a bit of a mess, to me it is a breakthrough.

It’s a mix of Pinata and Ranger (Tim’s) alcohol ink and I also plopped a couple of drops of blending solution. This stuff does dry pretty quickly so you need some speed to puff it around the Yupo.
