Technique Focus: Nature’s Prints Bundle

I absolutely love this card made using the Nature’s Prints Bundle and Basic White, Blackberry Bliss, Orchid Oasis, and Old Olive Cardstock. The colour combo is unique and striking, and the layering of colour on the stamp images (ink the image in a lighter colour, then add darker colour with a Sponge Dauber before stamping) make the delicate botanical images really stand out.

Inks used? Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, Orchid Oasis, and Parakeet Party. So pretty!

Sometimes the tiniest details can put a card over the top, and the kaleidoscope of Brushed Brass Butterflies hovering over the card make it stand out.

Colour some of the lovely butterfly embellishments using a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blend; the rest, emboss one at a time by pressing half of the butterfly into the VersaMark Pad. Then add white embossing powder and heat set for a fabulous two-tone look.

Fun note: The Brushed Brass Butterflies let you add a whimsical flair to your projects and make an easy accent because they are adhesive-backed. There are 80 butterflies in each package, with 40 each of two sizes (5 mm and 7mm).

What can you make with the Nature’s Prints Bundle and the Brushed Brass Butterflies?
