Now that it’s a new year, hopefully we can all spend a little more time doing what we love: stamping! Whether you want to keep your projects simple or step them up, here are three cards created using the Sale-A-Bration Thanks a Bunch Stamp Set will help you get back into the stamping spirit.
CASUAL Keep it casual by simply stamping some carrots and leaves on a piece of white cardstock. Add a few polka dots and accent with a die cut sentiment.
AVID Take the card up a level by stamping and cutting out some carrots and leaves. Then stamp and heat boss some polka dots. You can either do that with the carrots stuck down, or, why not stamp and emboss and then using some Stampin’ Dimensionals pop up the carrots, being sure to line them up with the dots. For some added effect, add a few Classic Matte Dots as a simple embellishment.
ARTFULLY AVID Step it up even more with the third card. First, blend the Dots & Spots panel with Calypso Coral ink and splattered that and the carrots with water to give them a watercolour look. Then instead of stamping out the accents on the carrots, heat embossed them with gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder for an extra shine. Next, stamp out the carrot leaves, stamping them off a few times to make a few leaves a bit lighter. Fussy cut the leaves and crumpled them a bit before attaching them to the carrots. To finish off, untwist some gold Simply Elegant Trim, and using the frayed pieces tie a few bows before adhering them to the tops of the carrots.

When your mojo is under the weather, why not CASE (Copy and Share Everything) a project!
For this stunning Christmas card, cut background trees from one of the bokeh sheets in the Lights Aglow 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper (instead of using the original card’s cardstock). The bokeh Designer Series Paper softens the colour gives a stepped-up look, yet it’s so easy to achieve.
Next, using heat embossing brings the card to the next level. Simply stamp off the tree silhouette images from the Trees for Sale Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen and Sahara Sand ink. Stamp the branches with VersaMark ink, sprinkle with gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and heat set; then, die cut the trees using the Tree Lot Dies.
Isn’t this a fun card? Use the ideas you see here—or CASE them to create your own lovely composition. Either way, with these ideas in your creative tool belt, you’re well on your way towards crafting a stack of Christmas cards in plenty of time for the happiest season of all!
Note: The Tree Lot Dies used for this card are an exclusive Sale-A-Bration item and coordinate with the Trees for Sale Stamp Set in the July–December 2022 Mini Catalogue.
Step it up! Create some stunning cards using the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set which is a free set you can choose in the Sale-a-bration brochure when your order is £45 (before delivery) and available now until the end of August (until stocks last)! If you have a die cutting machine, for an order of £90, get the stamps and coordinating dies to save fussy cutting your hippos.
CASUAL Keep it simple—start with Petal Pink Cardstock and layer some Subtles Designer Series Paper on top. Then stamp the hippo image on Smokey Slate Cardstock and finished with some white Baker’s Twine.
AVID Step up the second card with another textured layer using the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. Then add more colour to the hippo using Watercolour Pencils. Finish with white Baker’s Twine that is coloured with Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends.
ARTFULLY AVID For the third card, use a Blending Brush to add Calypso Coral ink to the Petal Pink Cardstock before embossing it. Then finish the card with a few dazzling embellishments—I love the way the gold complements the Petal Pink and adds just the right amount of sparkle.
With one month of Sale-a-Bration left, Stampin’ Up! have added more products that you can earn FREE with your order. These annual catalogue products are great choices if you’ve already got everything you want from the Sale-a-Bration brochure.

Here are the additional products you can choose as your free gift with each £45 (or 60€) you spend:
So many items to choose from and FREE! Some of the items in the Sale-a-bration leaflet will sell out soon so don’t delay if there was something you wanted (needed!) but had not got around to placing your order yet.
Designer Series Paper isn’t like regular cardstock—it has unique designs and textures. Because of these features, sometimes we forget that we can stamp on it just like cardstock!
The stamped flower images don’t outshine the Silver & Gold Designer Series Paper but instead, they delicately enhance it. So, using different flowers and a few leaves from the Sending Smiles Bundle, stamp off the floral images before stamping on the paper. Next adhere the Designer Series Paper to a card base and add a few Fun Flowers Resin Shapes, which were just the right colours and shapes to match the stamped flowers. Then, die cut “Sending” and the “Sending” word shadow and adhere them to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
If you like what you see, browse the Sale-A-Bration brochure for the Silver & Gold Designer Series Paper and much more, available (at least while stocks last) until the end of August!
(Don’t know what stamping off means. All you do is ink your stamp up and then remove some of the ink by stamping on a scrap piece of paper (or on another project! before stamping onto the DSP).
It’s Sale-a-bration time plus we also have the shiny new mini catalogue that is full of goodness.

I haven’t decided on a favourite from the new mini catalogue, although I must admit, the Scottie Dog bundle is so cute, and then there are the Gnomes. Of course, when you have your £45 product order, you might find that the hippos are pretty cute and these become your freebie from the sale-a-bration offering!
I hope you enjoy the new offerings, as always thank you for choosing to shop with me, it is very much appreciated.
