sarahs cards sale-a-bration

Hello dear reader,

Well, here we are in August! The preparation is still in full swing for Genny to head out to the USA – next week. Get Creative | Tasteful Touches

sarahs cards

Hi there, thanks for stopping by. It’s been a lovely few weeks, hot sun but now I am glad of some rain as the garden plants sure need it. It’s getting close to Genny heading off for her year abroad – there has been a lot to do and I think (haha) that we have finally got on top of what needs to be done, chasing funding, thanking Lincoln Uni for their help as well as it’s been a bit tricky in some cases as she starts in August where UK universities are September/October! Anyway, onwards….

It’s time to get the supplies out and get creative. Here is a lovely card for you with the instructions on how to create it. I hope you like it.

Measurements:

Cinnamon Cider cardstock: 8 1/2” x 5 ½”
Basic White cardstock x 2 : 4” x 2 ½” / 3 ½” x 2 ½”

If you love to make handmade gifts, this is a great set to create a calendar to give as a present. Also, you can use it yourself, you don’t have to gift them all.

If you like to plan and keep a note of special dates, this is a handy little desk calendar as well.  See how it’s made with the Stampin’ Up! tutorial video.

I just love the Days to Remember Stamp Set which you can find here in the all-occasions stamps aisle.  (You might want to hang on until August 3 – another post will be coming).

Many Messages

sarahs cards many messages

Have you seen the many messages stamp set?

Many message is a super set to have in your supplies.  If you are stuck for sentiments, this stamp set has loads and to add to the greatness of the set, there is a die which cuts out all the sentiments!

One of my fellow demonstrators also had a great idea. Stamp using your stamparatus and you can use different coloured inks, or use your Stampin’ Write Markers to colour some stamps, and also, this is great for bulk stamping, use different colours inks on different sheets, so you get a sheet of sentiments in say, black, red… etc

When you have stamped, line up your die and use a bit of washi tape to stick the die down.  And there you have it, a heap of sentiments to put into your sentiment pot!

BONUS!!!  Purchase the stamps and dies during Sale-a-bration, and you get to choose a freebie from the Sale-a-bration (level 1) offerings!

Happy crafting & thank you for your support
